Description
Dominican Bachata Foundation Series — Class 2 of 4
Your first step into Dominican bachata isn’t about memorizing moves — it’s about rhythm, connection, and learning to dance with anyone.
Even if you missed week one, you can still join us. For the same $21 intro offer, you’ll finish the remaining 3 classes in this cycle (normally $120 for the full series).
What Makes This Different
This isn’t a performance class. Social dancing comes first. Everything we teach is designed to prepare you for the social floor — to lead or follow confidently, adapt to your partner, and enjoy the music without stress.
Better connection means better dancing. Whether you’re brand new or already have some experience, you’ll learn how to elevate your basics and do more with less.
What You’ll Learn (Sept 18 Class)
- Find and keep the beat with rhythm drills and musicality exercises.
- 5 core basics (side, in-place, box, open, return) — and how to add flavor.
- Solo Technique: weight transfer, foot pressure, body movement.
- Partner Work: frame, push–pull tension, connection cues.
- Social Floor Skills: how to relax, flow, and adapt in real time.
Class Format (2 hours total)
- 7:00–7:45 PM — Solo Technique: rhythm drills & fundamentals.
- 7:45–8:30 PM — Partner Work: connection, lead/follow practice.
- 8:30–9:00 PM — Practica: open social dancing with coaching.
