Talia Castro-Pozo Bio: A linchpin in sustaining New York Citys vibrant Latin culture for over 16 years, Talia Castro-Pozo shines as the creative force behind celebrated events like Latin Mondays at Taj, the Bryant Park Dance Party, and Hudson River Parks Sunset Salsa, among others. Her engaging, warm, and inclusive style has been instrumental in igniting a passion for Latin dance and culture within the hearts of New Yorkers. An accomplished dancer, actress, and choreographer, Talia has been a prominent figure in numerous commercials both in the U.S. and internationally, alongside appearances in films and TV shows. Recognized as a spokesperson and an expert in Latin dance, she has been captivating audiences with her performances since she was four years old.

Valerie Levine Bio: Valerie Levine is a distinguished dancer and skater who has made New York City her stage, teaching and performing across the city and beyond. She is the visionary founder of Valerina Dance, a performance company that showcases an eclectic mix of Belly Dancing, Brazilian Samba, Flamenco, Ballroom/Latin dances, figure skating, roller skating, and synthetic ice shows. Her artistic journey has taken her to remarkable destinations such as Cairo, Egypt; Guatemala; and Lake Como, Italy, where she has shared her talent and passion for dance.

Grupo Tahona Bio: Emerging from New York City, under the leadership of Luis Córdoba, Grupo Tahona is a dynamic ensemble known for its original salsa compositions including hits like Tahona, Joe Pa Ti, Yroco, Canconito, and Joey, brought to life under the musical direction of Jose Mangual Jr. and Luis Cordoba. In 2022, their innovative sound earned them a nomination for the prestigious Premios Cristo Rey as the best Salsa group in Colombia, marking them as influential contributors to the global salsa music scene.
